1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email, profile details, business/church listings, job posts, marketplace listings, blog posts, messages, and endorsements. We also collect usage data, ad performance data, and form submissions (such as contact form messages) to operate and improve the platform.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate and improve Elentren, facilitate connections between users, send notifications you've opted into, verify trust signals, personalize Elex AI responses and the intelligence feed, deliver advertising you see, and maintain platform safety.
3. Elex AI Memory
When you use Elex, our AI assistant, it may retain memories from your conversations to give more relevant advice over time. These memories are tied to your account. You can view and manage what Elex remembers from the Memory section of your account. AI-generated output is informational only.
4. Sharing of Information
Public profile information (business/church listings, job posts, marketplace listings, blog posts, endorsements) is visible to other users and the public by design. We share data with the processors that run Elentren (such as our payment processor and AI providers) only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. API, Directory Sync & Webhooks
If you generate an API key, configure webhooks, or enable Directory Sync, data you choose (such as your listings) may be transmitted to third-party endpoints, CRM systems, or apps you authorize. Sharing is controlled by you and only occurs with your credentials. Enterprise API organizations may share keys among their active members.
6. Third-Party OAuth Apps
If you authorize a third-party application to connect to your Elentren account, it may access the data and actions permitted by the scopes you approve. You can revoke any authorized app from your account at any time.
7. Advertising
Elentren shows ads from businesses and, for paid placements, may include programmatic ads from external networks. Ad targeting uses the categories, keywords, and locations set by advertisers — not your personal identity. Aggregated, non-identifying ad performance data may be shared with advertisers about their own campaigns.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices
You can update your profile information at any time, manage notification preferences from your account settings, view and delete Elex memories, revoke third-party app access, and manage or cancel subscriptions. You may contact us to request deletion of your account.
10. Cookies
We use basic cookies and similar technologies necessary for authentication and core site functionality.
